Discover Venice by gondola and a fascinating walking tour!

You will enjoy a relaxing gondola ride and you will admire Desdemona’s House and Mozart’s House passing by the worldwide famous La Fenice Theatre proceeding along the Rio (Canal) “De le Ostreghe” leading into the most charming part of the Grand Canal, where you will admire the Peggy Guggenheim Collection Palace. Once you reach the Salute Church and Punta della Dogana you will enjoy a quick unique breathtaking view of S. Giorgio’s Island, Saint Mark’s with its Belltower and the  Doge’s Palace.


After the gondola ride you will visit the unusual and fascinating corners of Venice off the beaten track and where time seems to have stood still for centuries. You will enjoy a panoramic walking tour with a qualified and experienced guide of the area between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, through a labyrinth of little canals, and sites of historic and artistic interest, passing by some special places: Teatro la Fenice(“The Phoenix”), one of the most famous opera houses in Europe, the site of many famous operatic premieres; Scala del Bovolo, a unique spiral staircase with a plethora of arches; Rialto Bridge and its typical shops, one of the architectural icons of Venice. The tour does not include the commentary on St. Mark’s Square.

  • Meeting point: Calle Larga del' Ascension - In front of the post office (POSTE ITALIANE). On the left of the entrance of Museum Correr in St. Mark's Square
  • Timetable: every day at 3:00 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.
  • Languages, the visit is monolingual: From 1st April to 31th October every day in English and French German: Monday and Friday - Spanish: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
    From 1st November to 31 March: English vevery day - German: Monday and Friday - French: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - Spanish: Wednesay. Saturday and Sunday. 
  • Duration; 1 hours and 45 minutes (30 minutes for gondola ride)
  • Availability: from 1st April 2018 to 31 March 2020. Tours does not operate on 25th December and 1st January.
  • Inclusion: Shared guided tour with commentary by a qualified and experienced guide - Approximately 30 minutes shared gondola ride without commentary - Audio receiver devices are included in case of groups over 10 people during the walking tour.
  • Price: € 49 p.p. - € 32 from 2 to 6 years - Free under 2 years - From 1st April 2019: € 53 Adult - From 2 to 5 years old € 53 and  FREE under 2 years old.
  • Reservation: Free sale until the beginning of the tour
  • Cancellation: bookings can be cancelled with no charge up to 24 hours before the service.

This tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities. -The walking tour does not operate in case of exceptional high tide – The Gondola Ride  does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather, high/low tide or local gondolier’s strike – Comfortable shoes suggested – The tour is not considered private but it is shared with other guests not belonging to the same party – Mobile voucher accepted - Each gondola can guest maximum 6 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending of guests weight – For general conditions refer to our brochure “Discovering Venice”.



Take line #1 and get off at “San Marco Vallaresso” stop. Proceed straight on to the end of “Calle Vallaresso”. At the end turn right until you arrive up to a colonnade. The entrance of Museo Correr is under the colonnade – In front of it you will find the assistant waiting for you with a signboard “Gondola Tour”.


Museo Correr is located in Saint Mark’s Square. Once by the Bell Tower leaving the Basilica behind you proceed straight on to the colonnade with Museo Correr’s entrance. In front of it you will find the assistant waiting for you with a signboard “Gondola Tour”.
