The Magic Art of Glassblowing

A great experience that will bring you to know the manufacture and glassblowing art. In front of you a glass craftsman master will create a unique item while he is showing and explaining the ancient technique phases of the production. You will discover this ancient art came from Romans that, on the run of barbarians, established the city of Venice. 

At the end of the tour you will recieve a small glass gift for couple or each family.

  • Meeting point: Close to the well of Bacino Orseolo, In front of the Testoilini Bottega dell'Arte- San Marco 1758.  - Our assistant will wait for you with the sign GLASSBLOWING TOUR.
  • Timetable:  every day at 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM. Please, be at the meeting point 5 minutes before the departure time.
  • Availability: From 1st March 2018 to 31st January 2020. The tour does not operate on 25th December 2018-2019 – 1st January 2019-2020 – Morning tour 12:00 AM on February 24th, 2018 and in case of exceptional high tide
  • Duration: 20 minutes

Venice by Gondola

A “promenade” by gondola that will take you along the canals of Venice. You will admire the Mozart House passing by the worldwide famous La Fenice Theatre proceeding along the Rio (Canal) “De le Ostreghe” leading into the most charming part of the Gran Canal, where you will admire the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the breathtaking St. Mark's basin!
 

  • Meeting point: Ground floor colonnade in front of Museo Correr's Entrance - Saint Mark's Square. Facing the Museo Correr's entrance you will see the Post Office (POSTE ITALIANE) on your left side. It is far 2 minute walking to the gondola station. Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time. Our assistant will wait for you with the sign "GONDOLA TOUR".
  • Departure time: Every day at 11:00 AM and at 4.00 PM
  • Availability: From 1st July 2018 until 2020. The tour does not take place on 25th December and 1st January
  • Duration: 30 minutes approx.
  • Inclusion: Skip the line - 30 minutes shared gondola ride - Multilingual assistance for embarkation - Commentary by app or by written brochure.
  • Languages: the commentary on gondola is available by mobile app (received by e-mail or on the spot) or by paper booklets that you will have on the spot.

  • Sale: Free sale until the beginning of the tour - No minimum partecipants

  • Cancellation: bookings can be cancelled with no charge up to 24 hours before the service. Tours does not operate in case of exceptional high tide (in these cases it can be postponed to the day after otherwise it will be refunded).


TRAVEL TIPS

  • This tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities

  • Tour does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather or local gondolier's strike

  • Comfortable shoes are suggested

  • The tour is not considered private but it is shared with other guests not belonging to the same party

  • Each gondola can guest maximum 6 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending on guests weight  
    The tours could be done in different days, please you should indicate the dates of each tour.

  • This is a saving combo that includes two servies so, it is compulsory to show the voucher twice.

GONDOLA RIDE

ARRIVING BY PUBLIC VAPORETTO

Take line #1 and get off at “San Marco Vallaresso” stop. Proceed straight on to the end of “Calle Vallaresso”. At the end turn right until you arrive up to a colonnade. The entrance of Museo Correr is under the colonnade – In front of it you will find the assistant waiting for you with a signboard “Gondola Tour”.

           

ARRIVING ON FOOT
Museo Correr is located in Saint Mark’s Square. Once by the Bell Tower leaving the Basilica behind you proceed straight on to the colonnade with Museo Correr’s entrance. In front of it you will find the assistant waiting for you with a signboard “Gondola Tour”

GLASSBLOWING TOUR:

ARRIVING BY PUBLIC VAPORETTO
Take line #1 and get off at the “San Marco Vallaresso” stop. Once you get off the vaporetto leaving the boat stop on your shoulder go straight till the end of Calle Vallaresso turn on left and after one metre turn on the right, go straight till the end of (Calle) Frezzeria, before ending Calle Frezzeria turn on the right to  Calle Tron, at the end of Calle Tron turn on the left and after fews metres you will find a little square  with a well, you are in Bacino Orseolo. You will find the assistant close to the well and the shop TESTOLINI Bottega dell’Arte address San Marco 1758  with a signboard in which is written “GLASS BLOWING TOUR”

ARRIVING ON FOOT
Reach St. Mark’s Square, leaving the Church on your shoulders go to the end of the Square and turn the last Calle on your right, go under the arches and you will find Bacino Orseolo with its gondola landing stage. Keep Hard Rock Café and Zara Shop on your left , after few metres you will find Ponte Tron, keep it on the right and you will find  a little square  with a well, you are in Bacino Orseolo. You will find the assistant close to the well and the shop TESTOLINI Bottega dell’Arte address San Marco 1758 with a signboard in which is written “GLASS BLOWING TOUR”
